Big update here at Exer today! We’ve raised $6.5m from a group of fantastic investors AND we’re taking the veil off our progress and focus as a Digital Musculoskeletal (MSK) platform. Our AI / Computer Vision - now 4 years of data training neural nets to see the human body from any 2D camera (ie your phone) - is tackling the $20B+ market for MSK solutions in a way that nobody can. Where we are now: -Exer apps are now FDA Class II Medical Devices (software) for remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM). -Providers (orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, physician assistants, skilled nursing, etc.) use Exer apps to evaluate patients in-clinic or to prescribe to patients for at-home use. -A rich provider backend w/ patient data and easy workflows into billing and EHR software. -BTW, no extra hardware, sensors or wearables required! We run on existing mobile phones, tablets, laptops – anything with a 2D camera. -Payors (private and public) reimburse for Exer app use inside of existing insurance plans = providers get a new revenue stream. RTM now has its own set of insurance codes, geared for exactly how our providers use Exer.  -Research - we’ve got multiple IRB studies in motion, have verified using Exer on a phone accomplishes what a $1M gait lab might do, and brought on world-leading orthopedic surgeons as investors and advisors.  Healthcare in the US is a big, ugly, messy system that somehow works…most of the time. And there’s still so much room for innovation with disruptive technologies like AI and Virtual Reality.  We’ve been working with the FDA, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), and other stakeholders across the country for the past two years on how AI can be used to provide real-time remote patient monitoring and diagnostic tools.  Traditionally, companies in the MSK space have sold to big employers through employee benefits, cutting out healthcare providers. One of our founding principles has been to build software tools FOR the front-line providers doing the hard work required to get/keep us healthy, thriving, and making the most of our daily lives.  Long story short: we help patients feel more confident and get better outcomes, we improve engagement in ways that providers can trust, and we’re all economically incentivized the right way.  There’s going to be lots more from us in the future as we emerge from semi-stealth mode.
